In our clinic, we perform prenatal tests in the first trimester of pregnancy, which consists of:
- blood test (PAPPA and beta HCG test)
- ultrasound examination (genetic ultrasound, including NT cervical translucency,
- assessment of fetal structure, measurement of parietal-situral length, assessment of fetal heart activity)
The aim of this study is preliminary assessment of fetal structure and assessment of the risk of chromosomal defects. Screening should be performed on all pregnant patients between 10 and 13.6 weeks of pregnancy. Blood biochemistry should be performed in conjunction with ultrasound in each pregnant woman.
